“ Everything is perfect from management to service. Busy place, great Italian food, reasonably priced drinks and so much to choose from. I’ve been going to this same restaurant, even though it moved from Belmont Shore to Huntington Beach for years and I’m sure for years to come ! ”
“ We ordered catering for a party. The food was amazing and delicious. We had so much leftover food! It.was all great. The meatballs are big and flavorful. The catering drop off was easy and the food arrived hot and fresh. ”
“ The whole meal was just about food. Glorious Italian food prepared with deep love and understanding the interplay of seasoning and time. We both had pasta. Mine was the "Penne Ala Pastora" and it was a huge platter of one of the most delicious pasta dishes of my life. My fans know that Italian food is my favorite, if I had to pick a national one. Buon Gusto does a great job of explaining why I love it so. But often, in the least likely dining rooms, you'll find Service is quick and perfunctory. I gathered the food was the focus for the staff too. That's OK as we were kept happy. Tiramisu, as pictured, is house made and beautifully presented and very satisfying. ”
“ Super good food! Great service. Good beer,wine. Best thing not at all expensive. Our two entrees plus two to go 62.00. Great menu. Way too hard to choose. Authentic Italian with nothing but fresh ingredients. A must to return! We've been there at least 2 dozen times, and 99% of the time were very happy with the food and service. Today, February 15th, not so much. We were there when they were opening. It appeared there was a new staff on hand. There were no servers we've ever seen. At the time we entered there was only 1 other party. We asked to give us a minute to order but it was more like 10 mins. Our food was not the same as we were accustomed to. Our pasta was borderline cold. My sauce and meatball was hot but not the pasta on my wives' order as well. It took a lot more time time than usual to get our food, considering the restaurant was not too busy. We were first to order. We asked for bread, and our server replied it was coming out, assuming out from the oven. When it came to our table, the bread wasn't even hot enough to melt the butter. The 2nd order of bread was hot. When we finished eating we waited another 10 mins for our server to see if we needed a to-go box. We didn't want to wait for our check, so we handed our credit card for her ahead. Overall, because the food has always been great, we will be back, just a bit disappointed on this visit. We'll chalk the not so good experience to lack of server training. ”

“ The food is delicious from appetizer to dessert. This is like home cooking good, elevated to 5 star chef on sophisticated dishes, and ingredient placement. The vibe is like Family dinner, cozy and comfortable. All ingredients are so fresh and the pasta is fresh, delicious! Perfect for families or dinner for two. ”
“ Here is a hidden gem of a place! The interior is very nice and cozy. I sat at the bar and I loved the scenery. I had a side Caesar salad which was super delicious!! The service is amazing, they are all friendly and very quick and look like they enjoy working here. The complimentary bread was warm d with the butter, beautiful harmony between texture and flavor! Main course was the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which is my go to for comfort food. It was so necessary and delicious, I can’t say it enough. Remember this is a very traditional family restaurant so be sure to pace yourself and remember to take your time. These folks prepare your food with care and you won’t regret waiting as it will be well worth every bite. There so many options here I will be returning easily! Perfect also for big families and outdoor seating! ”
